My Qualifications and Training

Academic qualifications, continuing professional development and background

Working Experience

2018 - Present The Leicester Counselling Centre

2018 - 2019 Twenty Twenty (Leicester)

Background

I am married with two young adult children and I have now lived in South Leicestershire for over 25 years, after growing up in Hampshire.

I have also worked in industry for over 30 years in factory environments, on industrial sites and running small businesses; and working on projects in the energy, power, pharmaceutical and chemical sectors worldwide.  This has given me broad experience working across different cultures, in a variety of teams, including management roles, working with financial challenges and overcoming difficult circumstances. I currently also teach Level 2, 3 and 4 Counselling in a local Further Education College.

I feel that this broad working and life experience contributes to my understanding of the many challenges life can throw at us.
